According to a report by investigative journalist Ahmad Noorani, Mrs. Bajwa was not even a tax filer, but during the last six years, she became a billionaire. Similarly, General Bajwa's close friend, Sabir "Mithu" Hameed, a Lahore based businessman, also became a multimillionaire, after his family and Hameed became business partners. Together, they started an international business, and soon became owners of multiple foreign properties, including stunning skyscrapers, prime commercial plots, and luxury farmhouses in Karachi and Islamabad. In the last six years, the Bajwa family empire has amassed a whopping Rs 12.7 billion.

Qamar Javed Bajwa stated in his tax documents that his wife owns three assets, an eight-marla commercial plot in DHA Lahore with a declared value of Rs3,000,000, a one-kanal plot in DHA Islamabad worth Rs1,500,000, and an eight-marla commercial plot in DHA Lahore valued at Rs2,500,000.
When her husband was appointed army chief in 2016, she declared her assets for the first time. She mentioned "eight assets" without describing them. In her 2017 statement, Ayesha mentioned nine assets under the category of "Any Other Assets,", describing two properties. She mentioned owning a commercial plaza in phase-VI DHA Lahore, and a 4047-sq-ft under-construction flat in phase-V of DHA Lahore. In 2018, Ayesha declared she had bought five new commercial and residential properties.
She also declared USD 384,166 in her foreign currency account. In her 2018 statement, she declared that the net value of her assets during the previous financial year, 2015, was zero. In 2018, she mentioned the Oasis farmhouse in DHA Karachi, an apartment at PAF Housing Scheme Karachi, a 5 marla commercial plot at DHA Phase 9 Lahore, a 4 marla commercial plot in DHA Phase 9, Lahore, and a 2730 sq ft apartment in Sukh Chayn Islamabad.

In her 2021 tax returns, the general's wife declared she owns USD 591,831, equal to Rs 59,846,330, in her foreign currency account, in addition to the following:

and more than 160 million in cash, bonds, ornaments, money in bank accounts, and foreign currency.
As per official data provided by the reporter, starting from zero in 2016, General's wife accumulated Rs 2.2 billion by 2021. This does not include preks and privilages her husabnd recieved as Army Chief.
